Jim Woolley of Central Heating and Air Conditioining

In 1947 James B. Woolley Sr. started a company to help the families of Buckhead have warm homes.  The company became known as the Woolley Furnace Company.  As Buckhead and North Atlanta grew, so did the small heating company.  Additional Buckhead area residents, Al Gromley and Chester Swetman joined the firm.  When Mr. Cocky Crawford retired, Northside Heating and Air Conditioning became part of the Woolley Furnace Company.  In 1966 the company became known as Central Heating and Air Conditioning.

After working ten years at the sales level. Mr. Jim Woolley Jr. took the helm as General Manager of Central Heating and Air Conditioning in 1980.  Jim has become well known for his involvement in the heating and air conditioning industry.  He has served on the advisory board to Dekalb, Gwinnett and Chattahoochee Technical Schools, served as director to the 800 member Conditioned Air Association of Georgia, and as President of the “Metropolitan Atlanta Air conditioning Contractors Association”.  Additionally he has serve as Technical Chairman for the Georgia Department of Education’s “V.I.C.A. Skills Olympics”.

Central Heating and Air Conditioning is proud of its reputation and high standards, requiring that each service technician complete technical school training as well as the most comprehensive, IN HOUSE, training in the state.  To insure that every customers needs are filled promptly, a complete line of equipment and parts are housed in their 18,000 square foot warehouse in Atlanta.

“If at any time during the first year of installation, you are not 100% satisfied with the performance of the equipment, our service or even our people, we will, within 30 days of your request, remove the system and cheerfully refund the entire amount of the contract.”
